Dallas shooting won't deter activists from attending Detroit rally


Frederick says residents shouldn't be fearful of crossing the border for the rally planned at Campus Martius in downtown Detroit. The defensive tackle for the NFL's Dallas Cowboys was in shock when he learned of the five officers killed during an otherwise peaceful protest. Despite the violent end to the Dallas rally, Davis hopes people throughout the U.S. can have healthy conversations about the larger issues of violence and the relationships police have with all citizens. In a show of solidarity, Windsor activists are heading to Detroit, Mich. Friday to protest the recent shootings of black Americans by police officers. Support for DallasResidents across the city have expressed their support for the officers in Dallas.
