The announcement, made today, May 5, gathers together stars to read from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, in free recordings available via WizardingWorld.com’s Harry Potter at Home hub. Free readings of all chapters of the first Harry Potter book will be released as a series of video and audio clips over the next few months leading up to summer. The Harry Potter at Home Hub brings together free learning resources, the first Harry Potter audiobook and eBook for free, and other articles and activities for all fans of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.
