Dec 22, 2025 22:00:00Danish Post will deliver its last mail on December 30, 2025, marking the end of its 400-year historyDenmark's national postal company, Postnord, will end almost all mail delivery services on December 30, 2025, due to a significant decline in the number of letters delivered. Therefore, the decision was made to end mail delivery from 2026 onwards and focus on parcel delivery. However, customers will need to visit a Dao store to mail their mail or pay an additional fee to have it collected. All government communications are automatically sent via digital mail, rather than postal mail. While there's an option to receive physical mail, few people actually use it, with only 5% opting out of digital mail.
