Barrow have signed forward Danny Rose from League Two rivals Grimsby Town on an 18-month deal for an undisclosed fee. The 32-year-old netted 35 times in 107 appearances for Grimsby after joining them from Stevenage in the summer of 2023. That move came after Rose helped Stevenage to promotion from League Two. The former Bury, Mansfield Town and Northampton forward has amassed almost 120 goals across more than 500 appearances in all competitions since first emerging at Barnsley in 2011. "He has experienced promotion from this level and is a natural goalscorer in his own right, however he is also a leader and brings that winning mentality that makes teams successful," Barrow head coach Paul Gallagher told the club website., external
