KUCHING: Sarawak police today acknowledge that the force is facing a daunting task in its all-out war against illegal gambling activities in the state. "They (illegal gambling dens operators) are stubborn. Nevertheless, Dev said, the state police were committed in curbing illegal gambling activities by intensifying operations and conducting frequent raids. Earlier, Dev attended the handing-over of duty ceremony between outgoing Kuching district CID chief Superintendent Lim Bak Phai and his successor Deputy Superintendent Mohd Fazri Yusof, who was previously the Serian district CID chief.
