RAJSHAHI, Jan 31, 2026 (BSS)- A day-long bird fair was held today at Rajshahi University (RU) here with the theme "Watch Birds, Love Birds, Protect Birds". RU Bird Conservation Club with the support of the Department of Zoology organized the fair while two organisations-- Birdshahi and Valent Tech Limited-- provided assistance for it. Among those present were Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Khan, hairman of the Department of Zoology Prof Md. It is worth mentioning that the RU Bird Conservation Club has been organising the fair regularly since 2012. The Birds which migrate from one place to another during a certain time of the year are known as migratory birds.
