A clinic in Dedworth will be demolished and replaced by homes following approval from Windsor and Maidenhead council. Dedworth Clinic at number 97A Smiths Lane has previously been in use for musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy services. It has also been home to Windsor and Maidenhead Crossroads, a charity that supports carers, set up in 1992. The building is now vacant and has been declared as ‘surplus’ to the operational healthcare requirements of the NHS by healthcare commissioners. As such, NHS Property Services (NHSPS) is looking to have it turned into ‘a maximum’ of three houses.
