Mr Deji Tinubu, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s Special Adviser on Sports, is dead. Deji, a former Chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission, died Thursday night during a novelty match in the Epe area of Lagos State. He joined other Lagos State Executive members and top government functionaries for a retreat in Epe, where he played the novelty match. It was while playing the match Deji was said to have slumped and was later confirmed dead at a hospital in Epe.
