The Gautam Budh Nagar Crime Branch has swung into action following the arrest of the director of Earth Infratech, Vikas Gupta on Monday evening by the Delhi Police. The Crime Branch is completing its legal formalities in the court in order to seek warrants against Gupta and interrogate him in all the cases registered against him in the district. "We are completing the legal formalities in the district court seeking warrants in all the cases registered against him in various police stations around the district. Gupta was apprehended from a hotel at Delhi's Aerocity on Monday evening for allegedly duping thousands of home buyers in Noida and Greater Noida. On Tuesday, Gupta was produced before the court which remanded him in the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) custody for two days.
