Delhi records season's hottest day


The national Capital suffered searing heat on Wednesday as the Palam observatory recorded 46 degrees Celsius as maximum temperature, making it the hottest day of this summer season. The minimum mark was 27 degrees Celsius with strong surface winds making it worse for Delhiites. There would be a little respite from the scorching heat as the maximum temperature will be 45 degrees Celsius. The Safdarjung observatory, meanwhile, recorded a maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 26 degrees Celsius. The minimum mark will be 26 degrees Celsius.
