Chief minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday laid out an ambitious to-do list for Delhi’s future, announcing initiatives that ranged from the complete electrification of the public bus fleet and a large-scale Metro expansion to major investments in health, education, infrastructure and social welfare. She said her govt’s aim is to convert Delhi’s entire public transport bus fleet to electric in three years. Under Ayushman Bharat and the Vay Vandana scheme, 6 lakh registrations were completed and 20,000 patients had already benefited, the CM said. She said ₹700 crore has been allocated for development work in jhuggi-jhopri clusters, covering basic civic infrastructure.>
