Officials have reassured the public not to worry if they have not received their Census form in time for the national Census day tomorrow. The Central Statistics Office (CSO) was yesterday scrambling to get forms to the remaining 90,000 homes on time. “A very small number of households will not have a Census form on Census night,” she said. “Deliveries will continue beyond this weekend, and forms can be completed retrospectively based on the situation in that home on Census night.”More than 5,000 enumerators were hired to deliver about 1.9 million Census forms from early March. Worried householders have been contacting the Census office asking why they have apparently been left out.
