The Delta State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, has come under fire after responding to rights activist, Rinu Oduala, popularly known as Savvy Rinu, with a remark widely condemned as sexually suggestive and unbefitting of a law enforcement officer. Edafe’s comment, made on X on Friday, came hours after videos of women being chased, stripped, and molested during a festival in Ozoro, Delta State, went viral and triggered nationwide outrage. “The Commissioner of Police Delta State, CP Aina Adesola, urges Deltans to remain calm while assuring that those responsible for this barbaric act will be arrested and brought to justice. Bright wey no bright.”In a reply that has since gone viral, Edafe shot back, writing, “Whenever I issue a statement, it turns you on.
