NEW DELHI: The rising pollution in Delhi has spurred the demand for air purifiers among bureaucrats in the home ministry. Breathing cleaner air as you work is part of the good work environment, and literally so," said a home ministry official who had got the air purifier installed in his office during the November haze in Delhi. "Air purifier is a device that many are getting installed in their homes as well. Having one in the office helps us fight air contaminants on a sustained basis. The administration division of the home ministry has acknowledged this fact by procuring air purifiers for installation in rooms within North block," said the officer.
