The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter announced on Instagram Tuesday that they were canceling five shows and pushing back the start of their It's Not That Serious tour. Lovato is now set to kick off in Orlando, Florida, on April 13 instead of in Charlotte, North Carolina, on April 8. But "[w]hile starting to prepare for the tour, I realized that I have overextended what may be possible," wrote Lovato. The "Cool for Summer" singer said fans who purchased tickets to the canceled dates through Ticketmaster or AXS would be automatically issued refunds. "I am so excited for this tour and am looking forward to seeing so many of your faces singing with me," wrote Lovato.
