(CNN) Media freedom has never been so under threat, with even "model" democracies losing their way in a "new era of post-truth," Reporters Without Borders says. World Press Freedom Index revealed this morning: which country comes first? "If media freedom is not secure, then none of the other freedoms can be guaranteed." Finland fallsRSF said its global indicator had never been so high, "which means that media freedom is under threat now more than ever." While Europe still had the lowest level of media freedom violations, the number of infractions had risen by 17.5% in five years, RSF found.
