WASHINGTON—Democratic lawmakers called for Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to testify before Congress this month as concerns mounted over mail delays ahead of the November election. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) and top Senate Democrats announced an Aug. 24 hearing and called for Mr. DeJoy and Robert Duncan, chairman of the Postal Service Board of Governors, to appear.
