Recently, business honcho Ratan Tata had supported demonetization and called it a 'bold move that would wipe out black money and corruption'. The Tata Sons chairman took to Twitter to share his thoughts about the implementation, noting that it was causing 'great hardship to the common man'. He added that the government ought to consider relief measures similar to those employed at times of national calamities. Hardship is also being experienced by the poorer people due to shortage of cash to meet the daily household needs for food. Demonetisation of old currency notes by the Modi govt is a bold act that will wipe out black money and corruption.
