A long-serving and much-loved member of staff at Boyne Hill CE Infant & Nursery School is preparing to bid an emotional farewell after more than three decades at the school. Marianna Vousden, the school’s office manager, is leaving her role to move to Wales, bringing to an end a 30-year association with the Maidenhead school. Speaking about her decision, Mrs Vousden said she felt ‘very sad and very excited in equal measures.’She added: “Everything about this school is wonderful. She later joined the office team, where she became a central figure in the day-to-day life of the school. Headteacher Jane Davies paid tribute to her colleague, describing her as ‘the most loved and treasured staff member’ and ‘the beating heart of the school’.
