PETALING JAYA: A special officer to Datuk Guandee Kohoi, who accompanied the Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister during the special Parliament sitting, has passed away due to Covid-19. Datuk Jaimin Samitah, the deputy minister's special functions officer, died around 4pm in Kuala Lumpur on Monday (Aug 9). It is understood that he was part of the minister's entourage for the special sitting. "Rest in Peace our dearest friend Datuk Jaimin Samitah. "Rest well my friend, Datuk Jaimin Samitah, until we meet again," said another user Prem Breachile.
