Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Dr. Joyce Laboso has said Jubilee administration has no ready aspirants that have been handpicked for various elective seats for the next general elections. “It is wrong for some leaders to claim that Deputy President William Ruto had specific leaders for certain seats in various parts of the country who will vie in the Jubilee party.” She said. She called for respect among leaders and residents during the period towards elections. Dr. Laboso noted that it was not right for leaders to tarnish the name of the DP for being confident AND that Jubilee will retain power after the next general elections and that the party will secure most elective seats. She added that even during the recent visit by the DP to Bomet to launch various projects funded by the national government, the DP had said the region’s governor’s seat will go to Jubilee but did not mention any particular name for the seat.
