(AFP) Mumbai: Rivals trying to stare down each other during the pre-bout weigh-in is a common practice in professional boxing. Vijender became the first Indian boxer to win an Olympic medal and then switched over to professional boxing. It is a "winner takes all" fight - Vijender is Asia Pacific champion and Zulpikar has the Oriental champion's badge. In 2015, he switched platform to join the world of ruthless professional boxing and after eight straight wins, Vijender is nicknamed the "knock-out king". Yet, he was the biggest celebrity of Indian boxing when he finally decided to bid adieu to amateur boxing.
