Luton Town have signed experienced striker Devante Cole from Port Vale for an undisclosed fee. The 30-year-old scored in a 2-2 draw with Luton in December and registered the 100th goal of his career in Vale's 5-1 win over Blackpool on 1 January. The son of former Manchester United forward Andrew Cole, he began his career at Manchester City and his previous clubs include Barnsley, Motherwell and West Bromwich Albion. "Devante is an exciting signing for us, a proven goalscorer at this level," said Luton boss Jack Wilshere. "Since I first became aware of the interest, I wanted to be a Luton player and I'm glad it's finally at this point," said Cole.
