Balia: In a deeply disturbing incident that has sent shockwaves through Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, a 17-year-old girl endured a harrowing ordeal of abduction and serial rape spanning three agonizing months. The traumatic ordeal, which began on May 29, came to a close with the arrest of the accused on Tuesday. It is alleged that the accused lured the young girl into his captivity, where she was subjected to unspeakable horrors. During her ordeal, she was forcibly taken to different states, including Baroda in Gujarat and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. The five accused allegedly subjected the girl to a gang rape before leaving her near a road.
