Devon and Cornwall constabulary said a 60-year-old man has been arrested following the incident at around 3am in Burrator Avenue. It added the patients' injuries - which include a number of "stab and laceration wounds" - are not currently believed to be life-threatening. One has already been discharged after being treated for wounds to his arms while the other remains in hospital having suffered injuries to his face and arms.
