Dibble dabbles in pop-up art againMURRAY WILSON/STUFF Paul Dibble's bronze sculpture The Garden has popped up in Palmerston North. A pop-up Paul Dibble sculpture has appeared as a nod to our "antipodean paradise". Erection of the piece was organised by Zimmerman Art Gallery owner Bronwyn Zimmerman, who said the pop-up sculptures were proving popular. Fran Dibble said The Garden was one of many works over the past two decades in which her husband recalled the allegory of the Garden of Eden. Zimmerman said the sculpture would be in place for an "undetermined time" and that a related, larger work by Paul Dibble was permanently installed by the Wellington waterfront in Frank Kitts Park.
