Several reports have been doing the rounds that Salman Khan had called up Raj Thackeray and talked to him about the release of Karan Johar's upcoming flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which also stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. Following this, word started doing the rounds that Salman Khan, who's also friends with Raj Thackeray, has called him up and asked him to sort out the issue and allow the release of the film. However, as per a BollywoodLife report, at a recent press conference, the General Secretary of MNS, Shalini Thackeray, has rubbished the rumours saying, "This news about Salman Khan calling up Raj Thackeray is false." The moment we said ban Pakistani actors, sympathy has started flowing in." She further reiterated that they'll neither allow Karan's ADHM to release nor will they allow the release of any other film that has Pakistani actors in it.
