MH: Doing It Ourselves LLC (DIOS) is a black owned distribution company and cannabis brand. With the certification, those who believe in the spirit of the Equity Permit policy can identify products sourced by Equity permit holders. Outside of creating programs with the city of Oakland, what sets DIOS apart is that we are a black owned, majority woman owned cannabis company. The cannabis industry was built on the backs of black people who are now incarcerated for doing the same thing I’m doing right now. It lets me know I’m doing the right thing.
