South Africa is selling 18 of its properties, which house diplomats across the world, and it will boost the country's fiscus by more than half-a-billion rand. According to the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (Dirco), the sale of the properties was approved by the disposal committee. Hlengiwe Bhengu, Dirco's chief financial officer, said the properties were in Namibia, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Malawi, Uruguay, Italy and France.
