The nationwide retail store pOpshelf, which sells a variety of discounted goods, has recently popped up with a new location at 9569 Mentor Ave. in Mentor’s Creekside Commons. Situated next to The Great Escape and near HomeGoods, the store is part of the Dollar General Corporation and features a slightly higher price point than its discount counterpart. Currently, shoppers getting a head start on Christmas planning will find a selection of holiday-themed items along with seasonal fall décor. Crafting supplies, beauty items, toys, games, food, party goods and electronics are among other areas presented with private labels alongside well-known brands. The rapidly growing business that opened its first store in Tennessee in 2020 has already expanded to approximately 200 sites throughout the United States.
