Gregory Quarshie’s reinstatement came Thursday, barely 24 hours after his disqualification by the Vetting Committee chaired by Regional Chairman, Ade Coker spawned fiery debate within the party. Explaining why he is contesting for the position, Mr Quarshie said he wants to unite NDC supporters in the constituency whose disunity in 2016 caused them the parliamentary seat. Mr Quarshie is contesting three other candidates, including the incumbent Chairman, Fiifi Taylor who is suspected to be behind one of the three petitions submitted to the Vetting Committee to disqualify the financial analyst. The election of NDC constituency executives will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2018, across the country.
