Diss Town Council has revealed the theme for their popular annual carnival in the summer. Diss Carnival Parade & Fun Day returns on Sunday, June 7, and this year the town is going sporty with the theme ‘Game On Diss’. Picture: Mark BullimoreThe theme is especially fitting, as 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of England’s iconic 1966 World Cup win. Residents’ chosen sport or hobby can be showcased however they like, such as celebrating a sporting hero, recreating a memorable moment, or promoting their local club. The fun day will feature a number of stalls, live entertainment and a mix of activities, inspired by sports, games and carnival craziness.
