MORE than 10,000 work vacancies are offered to jobseekers in an online job fair, conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment-Region 12 (DoLE-12) from June 12 to 14. The event, called "2021 Kalayaan: Online Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan Job and Business Fairs and One-Stop Shop Services," is part of the country's 123rd Independence Day celebration. According to DoLE-12 Information Officer Christopher Gamboa, 27 companies took part in the job fair in the fields of insurance, retail services, education and training, accounting, administrative and office support, information technology, human resources and engineering, among others. Gamboa invites applicants to register at www.workbank.com. He said that the companies will contact the applicants for an interview and submission of required documents.
