But when Dr Muir Wallace went into work one day he probably didn't expect to spend a large part of it cuddling a very sleepy little visitor. When a sick mum came into the emergency department of Waikato Hospital in New Zealand she needed someone to look after her baby while she had tests. Lots of people unsuccessfully tried to calm the little boy, but he took a liking to Dr Wallace and settled straight away. "So for about an hour the other day our consultant in charge (of the entire ED) was most definitely multi-tasking.
