The current setup is being abused and is unproductive. The section offers some benefits to residents and the council, but it’s not working well. Taking away residents’ ability to address the council on any topic is not a good option. Residents who are willing to wait until late in the meeting to speak should be heard. The current setup is problematic, but taking away the comments is a big step.
