Domestic markets are expected to open on a flat note on Monday. SGX Nifty at 18,710 indicates a flat-to-negative opening for domestic markets, as Nifty June and July futures on Friday closed at 18,709 and 18,797, respectively. Hawkish comments“Risk sentiment, last week, was marred by hawkish comments from Fed Chair Powell in his testimony before the Congress. Core CPI print for May came in at a 31-year high of 7.1 per cent against expected 6.8 per cent. Since these segments are doing well and their prospects look good, they are likely to attract more inflows, going forward.
