Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai says no new progress has been made over signing a new contract — but the Hungarian insists he loves the club and is keen to commit his long-term future to them. It has prompted the club to open talks over extending his deal, three years on from his arrival from RB Leipzig. Asked if there had been any progress, Szoboszlai told reporters: ‘Nothing yet, to be honest. We will see.’Liverpool are also in direct conversations with midfielder Ryan Gravenberch’s agency about a new deal, while solving Alexis Mac Allister’s long-term future is also on their to-do list. Szoboszlai is keen to be a future captain at Liverpool and his stellar performances this year have only strengthened his case.
