Don’t kill the beautiful game with new scoring format - Letters

THE Badminton World Federation (BWF) is considering changing the scoring in badminton matches. The present scoring which ends the game at 21 points is ideal not only for players but spectators too. It also gives a player who is down a chance to recover, ensuring that only the fittest wins in the rubber game. There is no need to change at all especially when the players, officials and spectators have not complained. BWF, please don’t kill the beautiful game.
