The former US President had repeatedly claimed that the election that saw Joe Biden claim victory was rigged. Previously it was reported that US authorities in New York had opened a criminal investigation into Donald Trump ’s company. The ex-President’s Trump Organization is being probed to see if it falsely reported property values to help its finances. Her office’s spokesman Fabien Levy said: “We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organization is no longer purely civil in nature. "We are now actively investigating the Trump Organization in a criminal capacity, along with the Manhattan District Attorney.”
