Van de Beek has since made two appearances for United this season, though, playing a total of 21 minutes – with 19 of those coming in the Carabao Cup. United accepted a loan offer from French club Lorient for Van de Beek in the summer but a deal fell through. Van de Beek, who was also linked to Fenerbahce and Galatasaray in the summer, is under contract at United until the summer of 2025.
