Meanwhile, more and more countries are reaching the “point of no return” demographically, including Taiwan. They did that, and NATO countries have been stepping up, perhaps thinking the pressure would ease. Challenges and risks are rising fast, and the political unity and stability that underpinned the post-war era is unravelling. The problem is the sharp rise in uncertainty on every level, and the insecurity and anxiety that comes with it.
