In 2018, KCR had visited West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee twice, and Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik once. A week before that, he had met Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who leads the state’s Left Democratic Front coalition. N. Chandrababu Naidu, a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partner at the time, was the Chief Minister then.
