Left-handed Imrul scored a valiant 202 not out before his side gained a huge first-innings lead at their home ground Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium, and rose to the top of tier one with 4.01 points. The southpaw picked up the second double century in his first-class career, facing 319 deliveries and striking 19 fours and half a dozen sixes. Soumya was dismissed for 36 and despite not getting much help from the others, Imrul carried the innings far with his man of the match performance. Chasing 298, Rajshahi lost five wickets in 64 overs and scored 106 as the match ended in a draw. The Mymensingh lad took a combined six wickets in two innings and scored 63 in their only innings.
