When the Nation team visited the home, family members had already gathered for the burial of his grandmother at Nyansiongo, Nyamira County. Mr Makori’s uncle, Ben Nyambane, said family members got wind of his death at 4am on Friday, as they made burial preparations for Ms Nyambane who died on Sunday. Mr Nyambane added that the family was yet again thrown into a rude shock as preparations for their kin’s burial were underway. She urged friends and colleagues to support the family as they come to terms with the tragedy.
