Francis joined Down Town FC in late 2025 and featured in several matches during the current 2025/2026 national league campaign. Meanwhile, the Liberia Football Association (LFA) has joined Down Town FC and the family of the late Jesse Francis in mourning, observing a moment of silence at all league venues this week in honor of the fallen striker.
