The 405 was completely shut down between the 10 and the 101 freeways. Los Angeles commuters faced a terrifying morning commute on the 405 Freeway as a wildfire swept through Bel-Air on Wednesday morning. The closure of the 405 has caused massive gridlock along one of the city’s most congested areas. Officials said that more than 125 firefighters were on the scene and that water-dropping helicopters were being used.
