PETALING JAYA: A local man was arrested after ramming multiple vehicles while attempting to evade the police at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on Monday (March 30). KLIA OCPD Asst Comm Ravi Munusamy said the incident occurred at about 4.30pm when a police mobile patrol vehicle (MPV) conducting crime prevention rounds in the KLIA area attempted to stop a car for inspection. “However, the driver refused to comply and sped off towards the Level 3 terminal route at KLIA. He added that checks revealed the suspect, a 30-year-old local man, has 31 prior criminal charges and one outstanding drug-related offence. “The suspect will be brought before the Sepang Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday for a remand application,” he said.
