Three men, aged between 24 and 35, appeared in the Ntuzuma Magistrates’ Court on Friday on drugs-related charges. They were arrested during an operation by the SAPS provincial drug and firearm unit, in KwaMashu, Durban. KZN SAPS spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala, said officers discovered the men with 676 pieces of rock cocaine, 14 straws of crystal meth and 33 glass lollies. The estimated street value of the recovered drugs is R70 000. Friday’s operation is part of an on-going campaign to eliminate the abuse of drugs in the province and to bring drug dealers to book.
