According to the statement, officers from the Police Intelligence Directorate in the Ashanti Region acted on intelligence to apprehend the suspect. “Acting on intelligence, officers from the Police Intelligence Directorate (Ashanti Region) apprehended the suspect,” the statement said. Three arrested for beating Liberian national to death in SakumonoPolice said he further confessed that he could not substantiate the claims made against the officers. The Police cautioned the public against the publication and circulation of false information, particularly on social media, warning that such actions can cause unnecessary fear, panic, and reputational damage.
