Pic: Gareth Chaney/CollinsThe owner of Panti Bar has claimed that “a majority” of Dubliners want to see Capel Street pedestrianised on a permanent basis. Dublin City Council said it was seeking public feedback on the traffic-free weekend evenings and was exploring further options for both streets. Panti Bar owner Rory O’Neill, who goes by the stage name Panti Bliss, said the pedestrianisation scheme had been “fantastic” for the street and the community.
